ASTMH Sets Stage for Pediatric Diarrhea, Clinical Trial Symposia
OneWorld Health will host two symposia at the 54th Annual meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) Dec. 11-15 in Washington, D.C..
Dr. Victoria Hale, CEO, will chair the symposium, “Rising to the Challenge: A discussion of successful strategies for conducting clinical trials in developing countries,” on Monday, Dec. 12 at 1:30pm. Read the full abstract >

The Economist Honors Victoria Hale with Social and Economic Innovation Award
Victoria Hale, CEO, was among leaders honored Nov. 14 for their achievements in innovation at the Economist's 4th Annual Innovation Summit and Awards Ceremony in London. Honorees were chosen in seven categories: Bioscience, Energy and the Environment, Social and Economic, Computing and Telecommunications, Consumer Products, Business Process, and “No Boundaries.”
Dr. Hale was recognized in the Social and Economic Innovation category for her leadership of OneWorld Health, the first nonprofit pharmaceutical company in the United States that seeks to develop new and affordable

Senior Program Officer to Discuss Global Health, Pharmaceutical Industry Relationship
Art Strosberg, Ph.D., will represent OneWorld Health at the 133rd Annual meeting of the American Public Health Association (APHA) on Dec. 12 in Philadelphia. As a panelist for the
discussion, “Innovative Organizational Responses to Issues in the Pharmaceutical Sector,” Dr.Strosberg will
describe, discuss and evaluate OneWorld Health’s response to resource shortages in global health.
