Kill or Cure? Visceral Leishmaniasis

BBC World traveled to Bihar, India, in 2004 to film the earlier trials of Paromomycin IM Injection, and produced a documentary film Kill or Cure? kala azar. In 2007 they revisited the initiative on location in India to track progress, and offer the results through the film Kill or Cure? Visceral Leishmaniasis.

Doctor Helping Cure World’s Poor

When Dr. Victoria Hale was named one of 25 laureates for the prestigious 2003 Tech Museum Awards for Innovation in Silicon Valley, the event was highlighted in a newscast by San Francisco's KRON-TV.
