MISSION STATEMENT

 

The Institute for OneWorld Health develops safe, effective and affordable new medicines for people with infectious diseases in the developing world.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Senior Program Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be site coordination and the Clinical Product Management.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Liaises with sites for effective coordination and Clinical Product Management
  • Provides accurate and timely updates on site issues to Medical Director and the Coordination Committee of NDSA
  • Provides technical support to partners for improvement of management systems
  • Facilitates clinical and non clinical training programs of sites for skill enhancement
  • Accompanies staff to sites for orientation and evaluations
  • Works with Finance and Operations and the Project Manager to ensure effective implementation of projects
  • Presents reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to ensure Clinical Product Management and achieve project outputs

Job Requirements:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters Degree in Social Sciences, Health, Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 8-10 years relevant experience in the marketing of private and public sector products
  • Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills (for report writing and site coordination)
  • Ability and willingness to undertake travel within India
